The Massage Therapy Hall of Fame & Shame
Excuse the minor correction, but "No [individual] is an island . . ." We live in a social context which influences and constantly affects our peceptions and our way of going about life as we interact with one another. Sometimes it boggles the mind . . . The purpose of this page is to create a clearing house for informing ourselves about how massage therapy is represented in reporting, in advertising, and in the arts. For on the rough road-race toward the empowerment of massage therapy, we want to be able to deal with the challenging obsatacles and enjoy the pleasant back-wind. We invite you to help us "watch the dog" and collect the material for our "Hall of Fame and Shame." Everything--good or bad--that is being expressed about massage therapy in the conventional and the new media is welcomed.
